Albanian International School (AIS) is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), through 2028. WASC is a world-renowned accrediting association and one of the six regional accrediting agencies in the United States. It provides an internationally recognized framework for educational quality, student learning, student well-being, and continuous improvement.
WASC works closely with the Office of Overseas Schools of the U.S. Department of State and supports and accredits schools around the world, including international schools throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific region. Its international scope and rigorous standards make WASC accreditation an important mark of quality for schools serving diverse communities around the world.
WASC accreditation provides assurance that a school's educational programs, policies, and practices meet established standards of quality and effectiveness.
