Scholarship Program
The Albanian International School (AIS) Scholarship Program provides talented and academically motivated students in Grades 1–9 with the opportunity to benefit from our accredited American-based educational program. The program recognizes academic achievement, potential, and individual circumstances, providing deserving students with greater access to a challenging and supportive international education.
Selected students may receive a 25%, 50%, or up to 75% tuition scholarship. The level of scholarship awarded is determined by the AIS School Board based on the overall evaluation of each applicant. Scholarships apply to tuition only and do not cover registration fees, books and learning materials, uniforms, food, or paid outdoor activities and excursions.
Scholarship applicants are evaluated through a comprehensive selection process that considers previous academic performance, NWEA MAP® Growth™ assessment results, English language proficiency, and financial need, together with a written essay and student interview. Finalists may also be invited, together with their parents, to participate in an interview with the school.
Scholarships are awarded for one academic year and are reviewed annually. Renewal is based on continued academic progress, good academic standing, exemplary behavior, and continued eligibility. Families are expected to inform AIS of any significant changes in their financial circumstances. A scholarship may be reduced or withdrawn if a student does not meet the required academic or behavioral expectations or in the event of serious disciplinary concerns.
At AIS, we believe that talented and motivated students should have the opportunity to benefit from a high-quality international education. Through our Scholarship Program, we are committed to recognizing student potential, encouraging academic excellence, and supporting students who demonstrate the determination to succeed.
