Specialist Classes
At Albanian International School (AIS), specialist classes provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop individual talents, and strengthen important skills beyond the core academic subjects.
Through these programs, students develop creativity, communication, digital literacy, cultural awareness, and personal growth.
Albanian Language
AIS teaches Albanian Language and Literature following the Albanian national curriculum framework. Through reading, writing, language development, literature, and cultural studies, students strengthen their communication skills while developing a deeper appreciation for Albanian heritage, traditions, and cultural identity.
Art Class
The AIS Art program encourages creativity, self-expression, and visual communication through a variety of artistic techniques and experiences. Students develop imagination, confidence, and an appreciation for different forms of art while learning to express their ideas in meaningful ways. Students also have opportunities to showcase their creativity through annual art exhibitions, celebrating their artistic growth with the AIS community.
Music
The AIS Music program develops students’ appreciation and understanding of music through singing, rhythm, performance, and exploration of musical concepts. Students build confidence, creativity, collaboration skills, and an appreciation for different musical traditions and cultures. Through school performances, celebrations, and musical presentations, students have opportunities to share their talents and grow as performers.
Information Technology (IT)
The AIS Information Technology program helps students develop essential digital skills needed in today’s world. Students learn to use technology responsibly, develop digital literacy, and apply technology as a tool for communication, creativity, research, and problem-solving.
The AIS Social-Emotional Learning program supports students’ personal growth by developing self-awareness, confidence, empathy, responsible decision-making, and positive relationships. Through age-appropriate activities and classroom experiences, students build the skills needed to collaborate, manage challenges, and contribute positively to the AIS community.
